    Default M3J's The Stack journey

Thought I'd keep track of my training with the stack system here for others to see and ask questions if needed.

There is possibly a million of these, but it'll also keep me accountable somewhat.

So I'll get some numbers when I get all the hardware but from my little R10 unit, my driver swing speed is between 114-116 MPH.

Being a bit of a flippy hitter, I use an 8 degree Stealth 2 plus turned down a notch with a Accra FX 3.0 300 M5.

Any questions along the way, feel free to ask.

And yes, I should probably work on my putting but I'm not as jabby now.

Will record it when I hit the simulator next.

Conducted the baseline testing tonight. Thankfully borrowed a PRGR red from a mate to get underway, even though I now have a swing speed radar device on the way. I'll test both to see they record similar before switching out.

Driver speed with driver no ball was 111 average.

All I have read states it doesn't matter what you start with, as long as you build on that number. It's all relative and everything reads different.

The AI said to start with the normal program. Nothing fancy.

I had a peek at the first session. 7 or so swings with the differing weights. 20 mins total. You get allocated rest time between weight switching and each swing.

    Will keep tracking progress.

So I had a swing speed radar device delivered this week. It did read about 5 MPH above the PRGR, and near that 115 mark with driver which is what I've been measured at before.

So as I had only just started the programme, I've re completed the baseline and heading forward again with this.

Will keep track and see what happens over the next 6 weeks speed wise.

Matt, have you had any measurements on a trackman simulator?

Would be interested to see your clubhead, ball, launch and spin given you hit up on it? Would be pretty good i think?

I had a session this week, and averaged 117mph, but was down 1.5degrees launch.

    I am playing a TSR4 with a ADDI7x so spin wasn’t stupid high.
    In the bag

    I have. But I can't recall exactly

From memory I do hit up. Was mid 2000's spin.

I was fit into an 8 degree Sim2 plus down a click. Been going well.

The stack has been going well. Gives you time frames to train which is good

    Little update to this.

So I thought it would be easier to find 20 mins here and there to do this. Sometimes work and home life gets in the way. Regardless I'm enjoying the app and the program.

Do I think I've picked up speed. Yes.

The other great thing (for me) is that all the drills I have been working on with the swing start with the back swing path and feels, and into transition. So I've been able to build speed whilst practicing these feels. Which for me has been really really good.

I'll be sure to measure swings speed at the end, but yeah, I think it's working.
