Thanks! Wow. One man overrules a panel that voted 13-0.

When the police tolerance for speed was different to the allowable tolerance for a speedo under Australian Design rules, there is a flaw in the process.

Our front line workers are now lining up for their boosters. Public facing and dealing with international travellers has raised some concerns.

    There’s clearly a flaw. A design flaw.

Not quite my understanding. Since 2011 ADRs have required that Speedos do not under read. So most(all?) manufacturers have gone on the conservative side. For example my Wife's CX-5 reads 100kmh when it is only doing 93 actual via GPS. My 2005 Merc is slightly pessimistic and reads 99 at 100 actual (with new Tyres). Typical Tyre wear will over time slightly lower the actual speed as well, probably by 1 to 2%.

When the 2kmh tolerances were introduced, the Victorian laws did not reflect the ADR tolerances. There are still plenty of older cars on the road with inaccurate speedos.

Our VR with optional 16s rather than 15s read under - you had to be careful around it.

This thread has now disintegrated into personal insults, which isn't following the forum's basic instructions.
I recommend not directing any more posts towards each other.

It’s more entertaining than flogging Japanese crap in the pro shop

I really feel for the Victorian introverts now being forced to come back out and deal with people, plus head to the office. I hope they can keep several work from home days; I could only keep one.

I know right, all we wanted was to be free, now all we want is to take a day off and stay home.

I'm not sure I'd go so far as evil, but absolutely agree with the delusional.

Can still keep your job and travel interstate if you choose to run a red light though.
