what could possibly go wrong? its only 15 unvaccinated players, the rest are obviously safe.

I had to wait until my age group was eligible to get it, I made an appointment for the first dose in August, but decided to do a Saturday as my work hours are a bit unpredictable (which is why I didn't go to a walk in place earlier in the year). First available was early October. Then for some reason the appointment for the second one wasn't made like it should have been. I'm going to the same place but they do walk ins, and this Sunday works the best for me. As for Queensland overall it's probably been slower because we haven't really had any outbreaks. WA same thing I suppose.

No. I wasn't able to push that law through OZgolf parliament.

So leaving the peoples utopia of 100% vaxxed Canberra to head into the Murray area, I now have 3 apps linked with vax certificates.

In NSW, do I still need to wear a mask in the car with people who don't live at my house? The site is confusing...

Anyway, at least I can travel interstate again without quarantining. Thats a start. Residents of WA and Qld, get your act together and get to 90% or whatever the threshold is.

Why would people get vaccinated, when COVID hasn't been here?

And then How did omicron arrive from overseas into NSW when only people who have been tested and double vaccinated are allowed in?

Must have been those damn unvaccinated australians again.

Why do people have ridiculously unrealistic expectations that a vaccine will completely stop a virus in less than a year of being made available to people...when has that ever happened?

This probably be in the amusing funny thread. Yesterday on ABC radio they ran two news stories concurrently both interviews with experts.

    1. Omicron so far is less harmful with milder symptoms

    2. We absolutely must get everyone to get boosters to protect ourselves from Omicron.

Queenslands covid apartheid beginning on 17th Dec is not to apply to golf, according to QLD health advice. The unvaccinated can play golf, enter the clubhouse, buy stuff, but cannot sit down inside to drink and eat.

The last line in the image below is no longer correct, Surfers is changing their policy. Have heard Royal Pines and Brookwater are both going full lockout to anyone not double vaxed, others may follow.

NSW are allowing the great unwashed access everywhere from today however most businesses can elect not to permit entry which is what a lot of clubs are doing (including ours) due to workers comp issues if we permit the unvaxxed.
    Forum needs more banter.

One of my mates on the Gold Coast said his club will be allowing vaxxed and non-vaxxed players in the same cart.

My Sydney club extended our lockout of unvaxxed until Jan 31st.

Same. The only difference for unvaccinated is they’re not allowed to hang around either inside or outside the clubhouse.

Mine's the same. Originally it was gonna be unvaccinated locked out completely but they've relaxed it a bit.

My club has decided, for a variety of reasons, that it is just easier to only allow those who are fully vaccinated access to the course, clubhouse, pro shop etc. Those members who are unvaccinated or only partly vaccinated post 17 December can apply to have their membership put on hold under our medical absence rules, until they either become vaccinated or the rules change.
