Fair question. I was trying not to be provocative by being less direct/personal. Its a difficult topic, everyone is frustrated with Covid and the lockdowns and we all want to get back to normal, there remains no joy in seeing a close knit community at loggerheads. I assume you agree with my comment otherwise the first thing you would have done is say so, Allow me to rephrase and also referring your next important comment as well because it follows on.

As the vaccinated are fine and in light of the fact that a vaccinated person can still get covid and be infectious, why is a formerly infected person (not vaccinated) with natural immunity not fine? Which means in NSW they cant play golf.

This sounds very much like Bidens recent announcement "we must protect the vaccinated from the vaccinated", but nobody seems to be to explain that contradiction.

On the topic of "can an employer force vaccinations on its employees" (and sack them if they dont)
Short answer is, such a requirement must be both lawful and reasonable.

In Australia, it is definitely lawful, whether reasonable is not so straightforward.
For a Golf Course hypothetical, for the professional coaching staff, Probably reasonable. The greenkeeper, probably not reasonable

    Full article for your joy.

This whole thread seems to have turned into a vax mandate argument, which is pointless. It’s pretty simple. If you don’t like a government policy, vote for someone else next time. If you don’t like an employer’s policy, work somewhere else. If you don’t like a club’s policy, don’t be a member there.

Life is full of choices and consequences. Make your choice, live with the consequences and move on.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

I completely disregarded your comment because it was completely irrelevant to what I said. Don't assume anything.

Have I once mentioned those who have already been infected? You'll very much find that's a big no there, chief.

As for any argument about playing golf, I couldn't give five ****s about playing golf. Golf couldn't be more irrelevant in these discussions.

I said the vaccinated are fine to be free from being "segregated" (not the term I want to use but let's just go along with it), not that they're going to be fine going forward health-wise. **** sake.

Interesting that the title of the article you quote literally says "Vaccination remains vital". Sure, the natural human immune system probably does work better than a vaccine. But are you happy to flood the already overworked health system with 5 million cases to create this "natural herd immunity"? Just a hundred thousand deaths or so. That's acceptable instead of getting a little jab in your arm, yeah?

You guys are so blind. It's like you're driving while only focusing on the bumper bar of the car in front of you. You won't see what's coming till it's too late.

Mock me all you like, I don't give a shit. But if you can't see the complexity of this issue and think there's a black and white solution, you are blind.

Staying in garage will minimise the risk of being hit.

If the concern is about our democracy, then I'd be more worried about new ASIO et al powers than this public health issue. But hey.

Eventually all the COVID dead people are going to rise out of the ground and go, SURPRISE! I TOLD YOU IT WAS A PLANDEMIC

all in a bid to intoxicate us all with a deadly vaccine

Sounds about as far fetched as Christianity's 'Jesus will return' mantra
