    Default Lowood Cup, June 25

Anyone interested in playing the Lowood Cup on Saturday, August 21 at Lowood GC? It is a single stroke event with multiple grades. $25 will get you in the comp, and include a burger. Tee times are 6-8:30 and 10:30-12. At this stage, the early slot would be my preference.1. AndyP

Laidley is a better course IMO, but i would support playing both. There is also a Laidley 36 hole open earlier in the year thats in conjunction with QSOOM ( seniors). Played that one with Marto and it was terrific. ( but i am biased, cos i took home the chocolates)

This never happened last year that I know of, but the Lowood Cup for 2022 is in two weeks time on June 25. Sorry for the late notice, but I knew I had some travel for work coming up, and wasn't sure if I would be able to make it. Same deal as before, with reduced tee times (6:30-8 and 10:30-11:36).

Who wants to, and is available, to play?

    Indeed.

It looks like it is just the three of us, so I'll give them a call today.

I've booked for 8:22a. If this is too early for you guys (considering the drive), I can call back to get later, however the next latest after this was 11:20 or so. I also booked the whole group for now, in case we can get an extra from here.

I don’t know about thermals but it’ll be socks and thongs until I put my golf shoes on

Two practice sessions this week. Devices charged. Clubs in the car. Clothes out ready for tomorrow.

It's going to be so disappointing when I play shit.

Failure requires no preparation. I’ve done none of that.

Back home now, and I've had a shower. I can still smell the damn mud from that water hazard.
