I saw that and was going to post the link myself.

I've been to Dunedoo many times and driven past the golf course every time. It is easy to pass by, because its a typical Aussie sand scrapes, dead flat and lined with gum trees.

But it didn't deserve this fate. There is a gap in the story regarding motive, but its easy to assume either a neighbourhood dispute or an ongoing feud with somebody at the club.

Maybe he was caught cheating but nothing excuses this sort of act.

He'll be a pariah for many many years in this small community but that's what he deserves.

My guess is the reason probably involves the water allocation and usage for recreational purposes.

Good point Dotty and a real possibility with farmers allocations getting restricted while in his eyes a Golf Course gets to use what they want (which I'd guess is not correct).
If it is that then they are going to be using more water to re-establish what has been torn up.

Family dispute. Cranky prick doesn’t like his BIL who is on the board and figured he’d show him.
    Forum needs more banter.
