They have 5 and we have 4, and they have all the guys who played semi-ok today at Blackwood.

I'd claim it was unfair but I drew the names out of the hat so I have no one to blame. All the pressure is on Flavzz to carry us home.

This is amateur golf. Day one has no bearing on what can happen the next day

I've played 6 holes in the past month so might be worth keeping the expectations low 😅. Regardless I'm looking forward to it today.

Mate, you'll soon find out that I'm the 5th wheel... i.e. don't worry.

Here comes the weather. Hopefully it clears by the time we hit off which is what the forecast suggests..

Radar is currently really bad at Mount Compass, but yes it is supposed to clear around our tee time. Fingers crossed. I got soaked last time I played there too

Big thanks to Hatch for organising. On paper the conditions were soft and the course wasn't playing overly difficult. The reality was that we all struggled pretty badly with the wind and the black tees made a big difference to being able to hit greens in reg. The greens were also pretty waterlogged by the showers overnight which made judging the pace quite difficult all day.

Having said that I still enjoyed the day even tho I hadn't played for a while.

Highlight of the day was DMG hitting a 3 wood from 220 to 3 feet.

Thanks for bringing that up Flavzz! About the only good thing to come out of today as far as my golf is concerned. Couple clean strikes with the new CMBs which felt wonderful of course. Great company as always and despite losing half a dozen balls I still enjoyed it. Beautiful but extremely tough course for a hacker like me... sooo much thick stuff gobbling up balls either side of the fairways.

Similar to the WA Liberal Leader, I take full responsibility for my team not retaining the cup. It was my 5 3-putts, a few other shots thrown away around the greens and the stupid design of the 6th hole that made the difference.

Apart from the 6th I liked the course, and naturally I enjoyed the company of BYU, waza and especially my cart partner Marcel. See you all tomorrow.

TC on the 1st then Flavzz out of a bunker on the 5th (I think).

Couple of other snaps as well.

So why do you consider the 6th stupid Jim!?

Jim should have had 9 more points and Team Schnit would have won
