Default Trackman #'s - New irons

Wondering if someone who has some idea (not you Yoss) and isn't gaining out of selling me some irons could give me some insight into the attached TM numbers please.

I had a fitting on the weekend and tried a few different heads. These two were the best. Both 7 iron, both hit with same shaft.
    which is better?
    dispersion on both was good.
spin on one of these seems a little low i thought.

    thanks.

    simmsy.

I'd go with the higher spinning heads given those numbers - assuming you were hitting decent balls. If you were hitting old range balls but play pro v1s, etc you might want to hit those clubs again with better balls. Descent angles are good on both. Depends what you're looking for I guess.

What BYU said. The spin on the second irons seems too low IMO.

How many shots did you hit with each? Unless you hit a heap of balls, I would hate to make a decision based off those numbers alone, as the observed difference in spin could simply be down to one or two poor strikes without a big enough sample. Now that you have reduced it down to two options it would be ideal to go back and see whether you see the same pattern on a different day. I know that this isn't always possible of course.

And if the same figures emerge, I agree that the spin looks too low on the second one. However, were the lofts comparable? That difference in spin could potentially reflective of a 1-2 degree difference in loft.

Remember the old joke, "chose the one with the bigger tits"?

Reminds me of that, buy the one you like ( aside from stats).

And also ask the salesman why is the difference. He should be able to tell you. If he cant, then he is a checkout operator.

Also keep in mind that if the lofts aren’t the same (actually measured, not manufacturer spec), that can alter spin results

Thanks lads. appreciate that. yeah had already booked another fitting session next week.

MTB - I like both of them. Was worried if that spin on the 2nd example is just too low.

    cheers all.
