    Default Launch Monitors

Just wondering what launch monitors people are using. I've just ordered the Flightscope Mevo, just wondering if anyone else has one.

Cool i havent got a screen yet but take mine down to the range, pretty much the same results as a trackman but doesnt do swing path and club face angle.

Which range do you go to, and are you allowed out at night? Would like to see how it stacks up against my little Garmin thingy

Criticism doesn't bother me, as it means I am doing something and people are watching.

Was at Royal Pines but can take it where ever you like. Just need to set the altitude to suit the range balls. 1500ft for every 10% So at Emerald lakes and Royal pines the altitude is set to 3000ft to compensate for the range ball

I’ve got a Skytrak as well. I use it in a range-type setup in the downstairs rumpus.

Hitting off a range mat with a “divot action” insert into a Rukket SPDR net with iPad streaming to a tv. Probably the best golf related thing I’ve ever bought.

It used to go to the range with me but the setup at home is too good these days.

The greenkeeper needs to give it a bit of a mow and needs a bit of a clean but you get the gist.

The insert is a diy “divot action mat” to reduce the strain of hitting off a mat. Just Google DIY divot action mat and you’ll find heaps of different types you can make.

Mine is actually a Rukket mat that came with the net glued to a piece of plexiglass suspended at each end with foam dampeners in the centre - it’s been a godsend tbh.

The sheet zip tied at the back is just redundant “just in case” protection for when I hit driver.

I’ve thought about projectors but for what I use it for I’m more than happy with casting to a tv.

That looks cool, will look into the divot action mat set up. I would have the sheet there also as some of my balls have gone through my net.
    Thanks BUSHY

Yeah the sheet is so I can put the net closer to the wall, not in case it goes through.

I use a sheet as my screen, then there’s a blanket, then a net. I manly use the almost golf balls. With the Optishot 2 it lets me practice on rainy days .

Great, took a little figuring out with getting the light above right. And you need to know your actual swing speed and carry on one or two clubs to calibrate correctly.

Its for all disabled golfers with a current AGU, this event is also linked to the world ranking system for disabled golfers giving them the chance to secure more world ranking points.

I have 7 players playing in this event.

Not very inclusive then if there is a limited criteria.

Its what Golf Australia call it as some people get offended by the word disabled.

Just tell them you represent Spain.

It worked for them at the 2000 Paralympics.
