    I saw online last week that demand for Ping is so high that John Solheim has been spending weekends in the shop floor assembling clubs himself. He could probably just employ some more people, but it’s a nice effort still.

    The other side of the coin is manufacturers just trotting out the “blame it on Covid” line.

    I suspect there’s some financial merit not having to accommodate tight delivery timelines. I reckon I have seen it a few times in my industry where the excuse is straight bs.

    If someone really wants to get something to you on a deadline it will happen.
