Edit: I am happy to pay more for Aus Post or StarTrack. At least I know that there is a reasonable chance it will turn up roughly on time.
I've used Sendle twice recently, not problems. Had one item picked up from Rick3000003 on Friday morning and delivered to me on Sat morning in time for me to hit it badly that day!!

Hmmm. Maybe Benno is onto something then.

I LOVE Sendle. Awesome company. Totally haven't lost anything on me this week today.

    Fingers crossed that works.

It must be nice to run a business and have not a care in the world for overcoming issues and not having to give a shit about your customers. Pathetic.

As mentioned earlier, Auspost have been significantly impacted at distribution centres with them being major transmission and exposure sites, and many staff quarantined.

I'm acutely aware of this as we manage infrastructure at these sites.

There’s a very simple solution to that. Put everyone in the distribution centres in full PPE. All of my staff are wearing it. We had 8 exposures at my sites in the last 2 weeks. Zero staff needed to isolate. Zero disruption to service.

I have to give a big thumbs up to Couriers Please. I have had three separate items delivered by them in the last month and they were all super quick and well communicated. One out of Melbourne and the other two from Sydney.

Similar experience here. Ordered some hats on Sunday lunchtime and just got dropped off to me at work about an hour ago. I'm happy with that.

On the flip side, it's now 25 days since another parcel was lodged with Sendle (also in Sydney).

After 13 days I triggered an 'investigation', which supposedly goes through various steps (confirming with the receiver that it hadn't been delivered, interviewing delivery drivers, searching delivery vehicles, searching local depots, searching national depots). All of these steps proved fruitless and after taking 9 days the resolution was 'parcel not found'. The next step was for a claim to be sorted with the sender which is underway, but within a few hours of that notification there was another update to say that the parcel has arrived at an undisclosed depot. It's become farcical.

Did the sender tell them what it was worth and they found it?

The highest likelihood is that the 'investigation' was a stalling tactic and nobody actually bothered looking for it.

This actually turned up yesterday. This is an excerpt from my conversation with the vendor:

I think they didn't even try to search for it in the depot, our pickup driver told me because they get paid by each parcel, so sometimes they'd prefer delivering small parcels than larges ones and the large ones ended up to be left at the depot for days even weeks and never get to be picked up for delivery
Pretty poor from Sendle if this is true.

    Current Aus Post saga:

Sending a club head to Mitch in Newcastle (around four hours away):

Left Armidale on Tuesday (9th). Processed in Sydney on Thursday 11th and reported in transit to Newcastle. Update this morning (16th) - processed in Western Sydney.

Not golf related but had a package sent internationally with UPS recently. It got from the Netherlands to Melbourne in 2 days and has sat in UPS warehouse there for the past 13 business days.. When queried about it the UPS team can't say anymore than "it's in progress".

    Seriously weak.

Had a similar issue with my bargain $10 putter from the states, sat at APG for 2.5 weeks. Worst $50 freight bill I’ve ever paid

The seller for my item is a big company so I hit them up for a refund on the shipping component ($30USD) and they were cool about it. I told them to bill UPS.

Not sure I’ll get the same love, was worth the wait though as it’s gone straight into the bag. So weird using a $10 putter, but it’s made in the USA and it’s solid as a rock
