Sent one from Alice to Brisbane last week.
    $60 via TNT Express
    I found that fairly reasonable.

Ok I've been out of the game for ages. I don't think one ever went over $30 but that's a few years back.

As of a week or two ago, qantas freight still in chaos, as still dont have any computerised system, thus affecting many couriers. Plus overland cargo to and from WA has been a mess for a while to, due to road and rail closures, and a derailment i think.

    Startrack continues to amaze.

Box from Golf Clearance Outlet Brisbane.
To Ciccone NT 0870 (Alice Springs)

15th April- Collected from Cannon Hill QLD.

17th April- Arrived at Facility Wingfield SA.

22nd April- Arrived at Facility Ciccone NT.

24th April- Booked in for delivery Toowoomba QLD.

I asked Startrack what exactly was happening.

    "Hi,
This parcel is in transit with an ETA of 29 April. QLD is the parcel's starting point, so it's normal for it to pass through depots or agents there in the early stages, particularly if it's not travelling from major metro area to major metro area. -Ted"

Righto Ted. It was literally 150mt from the delivery address, now it's 2867klm from the delivery address.

    Makes sense.

That’s like me 12m from the hole in a greenside bunker.

Startrack and Toowoomba, urgh! Useless. Twice we had Dell computers sitting at the tmba depot for a week because they only deliver to our area (4km from the edge of town) once a week, but both times the items were listed as "delivered". The first one took them the whole week to find it before they got around to actually delivering it; it was sitting beside the managers desk for the week. The second one was nearly a week to find it and I went out to collect it myself. Just useless.

GCO certainly mustn't have the special deal GolfBox has with them. They are white hot for GB.

Dazza, this doesnt say its "arrived" in Toowoomba. I would suggest this event means its been allocated to a particular driver, and therefore is stuck in a black hole at Alice Springs depot.
