Green is a dumb as dog sh!t grub.
Deserves every bit of 4 or more.

Still waiting for Melbourne to fall over. Goodwin as a premiership coach is just as wrong as Paul Morris being a Bathurst winner ffs.

He got 3 weeks. I agree it should be more but it's still better than the usual wet lettuce leaf fines they get.

The fact you think that scenario would make me happy just shows how little you know me.

This. I don't hate Toby Greene like many do, but you can't give a macho shoulder bump to an umpire because you're shitty about something. The only thing that confused me was the length of the hearing. Three hours?

Meanwhile, Geelong. Car flags are out again this year but the flogs are feeling a bit fatalistic after the Dees belted them last week. I've designed some car flags for next week if anybody wants one:

Thats just the 2nd GF for Melbourne since the glory days of the 50-60s right? The only other was 1988. And it will be just perfect if Footscray smashes the Pap smears tomorrow

Geelong are so close to another premiership. They just need to top up with some experienced players in the off season.

I thought Melbourne would win last night but I didn't expect that. I think a change of game style is needed for Geelong. That slow, chip the ball around doesn't work in finals, aside from being a yawn to watch. The frenetic style teams just slice them apart. I guess they didn't learn much from when Melbourne ran them down in the last round either.

Congrats on the GF Lefty. I did not see that coming at all.

I thought they were cooked a month ago when Bruce went down, but they whole team has stepped up.

I hope the GF is a sellout at Optus - it would have been spectacular at the G

Only the second all Victorian team GF since there has been 18 teams. Neither has been played in Victoria.

    I'll be going for Melbourne.

Well done to both Melbourne and the Dogs. I too did not see that coming last night but was pleasantly surprised how easy they did it. Like Andy I will be cheering for the Dees!

You two didn’t see the biggest flat track bullies in the comp being beaten by a good team?

No because I saw how they struggled to beat the Lions last week!If not for the umpires they wouldn’t have been there.Having said that I think we are in for a great Grand Final but I think that the Dees will prevail in the end.

I thought the Dogs may have been at the end of their run. After getting belted by the Hawks, then gagging against the Power, they rolled Essendon in the final as expected, and played out of their skin to sneak over the Lions.

Port with a week off, at home... just specials.

If you had to pick a best 22 out of last night though, Wines, Lycett and Bonner would be about the only three you would consider.

Good to see the Bulldogs win a final on their own merit for a change
