    Default Xgolf

Just gauging interest in an Xgolf session at Marion for a date in February. Each booth is $40 per hour which we can share with as many people as we like. 3-4 people per booth is probably a sweet spot. Assuming 4 people per booth it will only cost $20 each for 2 hours which is pretty great value and I think we should be able to play 18 holes in that time however I have not played a full 18 there before. If we can get 6-8 people confirmed that would be ideal. Any interest?

    Update 16/02/2021

Booked for 2 groups (4 in each group).
Date: Sunday the 21st of February
    Time: 10am - 12pm.
Cost is $30pp for 2 hours if we have 4 per group, slightly more if we have odd numbers
    BYO clubs

    Confirmed Starters:
    1. Flavzz
    2. Waza
    3. DMG
    4. Hatchy
    5. Marcel
    6. Hard Pan
    7. Kadin

Its amazing how much harder people try and hit.
Just don't expect much when it comes to putting.
I only suggested other courses because I have done Pebble to death there but happy, if others that haven't been, to just go with the flow.

    Just my thoughts.
As organizer of the day Flavzz should have final say on which course we play after suggestions are made.

Hmm, I'm expecting that to be pretty strange. The thought of putting on a simulator has always done my head in.

I'm more than happy to go with the group consensus but will use my executive powers if need be. The other option is we could have 1 different course per booth if there are 2 clear favourites.

In my experience distance control is the hard part of simulator putting. You should be better inside ~10 feet on a sim, but worse at lag putting.

I've added my little cousin to the list.

There is still one spot available. Any takers?

If everyone can get there around 15 minutes early tomorrow we can make sure we're ready to start bang on 10am and use our full 2 hours.

Anyone checked the Pebble forecast, beanies required?
Serious question as I've not used a sim before, is footwear with grip required?

I may be a late withdrawal sorry lads. Haven't been well this week and really don't want to spread anything (it's not COVID). Will aim to meet Hatchy in the carpark to collect my CMBs that he built... so may see a few of you in passing (from a safe distance).

As much grip as you would need at the range on a synthetic mat. I'll wear my soft spike shoes.
