Played it a few times now and you won't be disappointed if you ever get there. It's a great track and due to the wind element it changes the way you play golf. Last time I played there (about 5 months ago) there still hadn't been anyone break par around the course.

NW would e no good for launching the boat at Wynyard but would make the golf fun.

Looking at property near the course at Lulworth.

It's a top spot and the members there are unbelievably friendly and welcoming. Pretty sure it's only $300ish for membership too.

The owner chose the exact spot to live after flying over it for many years. It statistically has more sunshine than the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. It does not suffer from low onshore orographic clouds as it lies in a cloud shadow caused by the mountainous area to the west and the range of mountains extending south east, much like Nelson on the South Island of New Zealand. Because of this, it is warmer than anywhere further south and has a Warm Temperate climate, whereas the rest of Tasmania is Cool Temperate – according to an Australia gardening magazine.

I was hooked at orographic 😀

on google maps looks like this golf course has a few ghost holes around it, was it changed from 18 to holes?

and its right next door to Fannys whisky distillery, how could you go wrong Ferrins!

Local developer is plugging that the course is going to become an 18 hole track.
