Sunscreen recommendations
Been using Banana Boat Cool Zone for ages, and I loved it. Was 'thin' feeling, not thick like many sunscreens which would feel like my skin couldn't breathe. Plus they had some ingredient that gave a cooling sensation, fantastic for hot and humid days. Looks like they're discontinuing it, so wondering what everyone uses?

Daves had some good suggestions in another thread that could be searched. Too hard from the phone.

Sheezy Sounds like you are talking about Zinc content, thats thick/white and why people dont like it (think White Zinc that we paint our faces with
pretty sure i quoted an email from one of my clients about sunscreens in this old thread, she lectures on the topic.

As Lobby said go the Zinc/Titanium Dioxide based Sunscreens.
For an "invisible" Sunscreen with a thin consistency and easy application I use Sun Sense Sport 50+ (2.0% Titanium Oxide). For a little bit heavier; Sunsense Sensitive Invisible 50+ (15% Zinc Oxide). If you want a heavier cream; Cancer Council Classic Zinc (20%) 50+, or from Big W from memory; Sun Zapper Ultra 50+ Clear Zinc (50mg/gram).
Because I have long term sun damage, on the recommendation of my Skin Specialist, I also use a daily Moisturiser that is also 50+. It is nice and light and easy to apply; Natio Daily Defence Face Moisturiser 50+. No Zinc or TiO2, but it does have Aloe Vera, which I suspect is the ingredient that gives the "cooling sensation" you mention.

After trying everything this is my recommendation:
1st layer banana boat sport 50+
2nd layer invisible zinc, only need a small amount as it is very visible on your skin, I stopped wearing it for a while due to mainly teasing from peak boomers and it rubbing off onto your clothes. Best time to apply is straight after a shower and let it absorb before putting your shirt on.

This is what I use. Only the zinc based sunscreens seem to agree with me. Way more consistent than the Aldi sensitive version.

I been using that too, has 5% zinc the least messy thatI can find. Most zinc based ones get everywhere, clothes i dont care about but it gets on the eye glasses, and cleaning them just spreads it around more.
