Xander had a very makeable eagle putt on #13 and almost holed his bunker shot on #15, if only

All over now
A few of the internationals can breathe a sigh of relief that they can have some good Japanese food at the Champions dinner rather than what the kid Zalatoris eats (assuming he does).

Xander needs to come and play Nudgee GC to improve his par 3 game.

It would have to be the first time that the winner bogey's 3 of the last 4.

That wedge to #18 was almost as bad as Norman in 86

A broken clock is right twice a day. My first significant betting win for about three years. I'm glad I didn't watch it live. It would have been too stressful after 15.
A few other observations. Adam Scott was in the featured group coverage just after midnight for the third round. He is chopping it. He used to have the best, and most consistent spine angle in golf. He was lifting up and off the ball a few times. With his always dodgy putting, if eh doesn't fix that he's finished. He might be finished anyway. Getting older, and with a family to distract him from putting in the work.
Zalatoris is a star. If his putting holds up he'll be winning majors.
On that subject though. Winning majors is harder than ever. There are so many good players capable of getting the job done. No doubt another Tiger will come along eventually, but he'll need to be really outstanding to dominate the current crop of players.

I'm so glad you reply to your own posts as most are worth a second read.
media going nuts about reporting Hideki as the first asian to win the Masters, what about that other asian guy who has won 5 masters?
“Cablinasian” a different nationality
In true Master fashion Amen Corner is where the players fortunes were won or lost. The eventual winner was stumbling through here while Schauffele was on a roll until finding water on 16 to throw it away and release the pressure valve.
Was hoping Leishman would get on a hot streak through Amen Corner and be in contention but sadly the he wasn't making the putts that make a difference. Another honorable Top 10 finish for him.
He's not even sitting in a lounge .......

The people’s Champ, most of the other guys are posers....
The official interview on the Masters website was great, he comes across as a very humble person.
This was great too:
