Maybe its just me, but this just doesn't seem like a major. No real buildup, and a course that I can't remember, even though I saw the last PGA and recall Rory winning by a mile.

I haven't even had any bets, so I don't really know who to cheer for. Just for fun, I'll cheer for Matsuyama and Patrick Reed.

Anyway, I should be thankful that we have bonus coverage on Kayo now, with a feature group of Scott, Fowler and Tyrell Hatton. I didn't see the first hole, so I don't know how Scotty compiled his triple, but its a rotten way to start.

Hope the course chews a few of the big names up.

3 off the tee helped with the triple

With a triple on the card too! Cam Smith was looking good, but faded a bit at the end.

    https://www.golfdigest.com/story/pga...than%20bunkers.

I'm looking forward to seeing this rule (or non-rule) in greater detail during this event. I didn't see the Rory instance that is referred to in the article, but I did see a similar thing with Shane Lowry late in the telecast.

The really interesting thing for me is what happens in an obvious greenside bunker. I didn't see any player take proper practice swings, or ground the club. I'm wondering whether someone will be accused of doing a Patrick Reed if they do.

Great timing with the ads there... Koepka about to hit his eagle putt, let's put a heap of ads on. I mix GOLFTV.

Really like the look of the course, also seems like they have the set up right. Just wish Leishman was going better.

Watch the handshakes on #18 Matt Wallace’s caddie completely snubbed him as he almost got hit by the flying clubhead

So, who do we cheer for tomorrow?

Phil is the ultimate fairytale result, but the achievement of Brooks to win a 5th major in a time where majors are really hard to win will be extraordinary. And he should be injured and not be able to play at his best.

Or can Bryson come out of the pack?

I think I have to go for Phil.

I’d love Phil to win, at his age and factoring in his recent form it’d be a massive achievement.

Cue the “Oldest to win a major” drinking game.

Brooks is a different storyline but still no less incredible given the injury.

I think you could come up with something for every player down to about Gary Woodland.

We’re due for a nobody to win one. The PGA is barely a major so it’d be fitting that it happened here. Go Streelman!
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

I've just been watching the end of round 3, and Phil was running pretty hot without sinking putts.
Louis seems like a a choker.

It could be an interesting finish through 17/18.

+1, won’t be from nerves though, overconfidence likely to be the cause.

If he pulls it off no doubt we will witness one very entertaining round of golf. Watching the replay this afternoon I could not get away from the tv. That chip on #18 was awesome

    Go Phil!
