Tony Finau has another runner up, once he figures out what he needs to do to close the deal he'll win lots.

Mind you, Max Homa should have birdied 18 from 3ft.

Yes, I noticed that. He's going sneaky alright in the FedEx cup. 70th place on a medical exemption, not bad.

I'd say Matt Jones would take 9 under as his four round total and be happy.

It was a morning round today, completed before the coverage started, but it guarantees he'll get a lot of TV time tomorrow.

On the subject of Aussie TV time, Rhein Ginson must have been an alternate who got a late start, because he's in the feature group with Lee Westwood and Keegan Bradley, but he's getting no TV time on the replay I'm currently watching. Probably because he is way over par.

Rhein got a start after Berger pulled out with an injury.

You might be selling Jones a little short there!

Watching a golfer in the zone is really quite something.

Matt Jones looks like he is playing a different course to the rest.

Gooooo Jones, would be his first win for nearly 7 years on the PGA Tour

The shot that really impressed me that Jones was 'on' today was the drive on 10 (I think) where he was confident enough to aim way right over the trees and blasted a big draw that sailed the bunker and ended up perfectly on the left-side of the fairway.
