Default Balls; what's worth a try, where to get??

So thinking of attempting to play a little bit again, maybe once or twice a month. Need to get some balls though, I'm nearly out of my son's Laddies! Used to love the old Utri Tours, or the venerable pro V1 (not the X). What's worth giving a go these days, and happy to get used, so where's the best source? Squizzy still around?

You could have a look through the Golfbox website for any sales. Now that I've ran out of U-Tri Tours, I've been through Srixon Q-Star Tours, and now onto the Z-Stars.

Here's the most recent ball thread: https://www.ozgolf.net/showthread.ph...f-Ball./page88

I know what you mean - especially when i cant get through 9 holes without feeding them to the fish.

On the other hand golf balls are relatively cheap now compared to 30 years ago, cost of a beer has at least tripled but a golf ball is about the same. Titleist balatas were costing $60 in 1990, and even barely thinning one would ruin it, made you cry. then the Pgf came out with the Optima balata for about $40, a much better and durable ball IMO. At the time there was no other decent ball to use that wasnt a rock. I guess its just cheaper to mass produce them now.

I still hate losing $5 golf balls

Rule 5 golf in Burleigh. Extensive range including JDM. Russ sends out K's of balls for resale to most golf clubs in Qld.

Used but grade AAA PRO V's,avx and Penta tp for $2.50 each.
Also has this deal 20 balls for 30 in the balls other than grade AAA ProV, AVX and Penta.

Great value imo. Been testing new Mizuno, Vice and Snell without a dent on the wallet.

Do you (or was it someone you knew) still sell lost/recycled balls? I remember buying them off you many many years ago.
