How is India's spin bowling depth? With Patel being left arm orthodox you'd think Jadeja's the reason he's played so little in all formats for India. He's played for ages and looks to have been white ball orientated. Gets a break with Jadeja's injury and takes 23 wickets in three tests at 10.59. Strike rate is 28.3 and he nabs 4 Michelle Pfeiffers and a four for in those six innings including a 10 for. Unreal regardless of conditions.

N.S.W. in the Shield 3-0 to 5-13 and now 7-31 with 24 of that coming in 4's. Wild stuff after Tassie got 333. Bird 6-17 with 3 fours.

Warnie wants to do a second MCG test. One MCG pitch is enough for me, give it to Tasmania (assuming it doesn't go ahead in Perth).

Warne is a variation of the whinging bloke at the golf club, every suggestion/idea he has contains a healthy slice of self interest.

Has to be Tassie. Canberra is the only other option, and its pitch is usually a worse road than Adelaide's used to be.

Can't stand Warne. Bloke was a deadset genius of a leg-spinner, but he just sprouts absolute nonsense every time he opens his mouth. I like the analogy of him being the annoying guy at the golf club that everyone wishes would just shut the hell up - very apt.

There was some talk he wanted to be a selector;I cannot imagine a worse option. I still carry a grudge about the time he told everyone how great Michael Beer was, and the national selectors listened to that rubbish for some completely unknown reason and picked him. First in a long list of bizarre left-field moronic 'hunches' that Warne has put forward.

Nobody messes with the goat for 326 days without eventually getting the horns.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

England's second innings is like my golf rounds. Starts off promising then all of a sudden the wheels fall off.

Three very prominent older Australian test cricketers (Dean Jones, Rod Marsh and Shane Warne) all dying recently by heart attack. Good reminder for us all to get checked up regularly - Covid has impacted how frequently people go to the doctor for routine review (including skin checks), and I would urge us all to think about whether we are due for an annual review.

Is Pakistan trying to kill test cricket? The most defensive (boring) cricket that I've watched in a long time.
