Hi Guys I have just joined up with Future Golf, just wondering if anyone else is a member on here and what you think about it.

I'm not a member but from what I've heard from mates it's pretty good. When on special the value for money is hard to beat. Where are you based?

Based on the Gold Coast, there are a few courses on there locally i will play.

I joined the golfer package for $279.20 which i thought was a good deal, it includes 12 rounds of golf and a golf link number

Nice one. I'm sure some of the Queenslanders will tee it up with you at some of those courses.

Anyone know how the Future Golf Handicap is accepted by clubs when playing in their comps? I know there is/was a bit of anti towards this type of "social golfer" handicap?

Not sure I asked at my club today and no problems, I believe they have over 2000 members now so i would think they would have ironed that out by now. Will keep asking around as i go.

looks like a person/s could take advantage of this membership if going on a golf holiday. the list of courses in Victoria is pretty good

Criticism doesn't bother me, as it means I am doing something and people are watching.

Yep its not a bad list at all. Depending what state you live in there are various options of membership.

I was once a member for the SA one, the value is good if you use all the vouchers for rounds.
    The problems I found were
    - The availability of tee times for use of said free rounds
    - Acceptance of golf clubs to the Future golf name
    - Most courses were no where near me.

I've had another look into it this morning, and noticed they have a lot more courses and benefits now!

Ive been watching it for a bit and they seem to add a couple of courses every couple of months. Some of the courses look pretty good. They have offered our members 20% off if you go through a certain link also which worked out even better this is why i joined it seems good value for money.

Looks like free rounds can only be redeemed in your home state.

How many rounds can I play per year?

You can redeem one free round, per each partner, per membership year in your home state up to the total of free rounds included in your membership e.g. The Golfer = 12 Free Rounds.
