    Default Barnbougle Dunes - February 8th or 9th 2021, Hobart area 14th-16th

Tassie trip is all booked. Staying at Launceston on these days and looking to play BD. Thought I'd chuck it on here see if anyone else can get there.

Also looking for a hit in Hobart while we are there. I will probably play a few smaller courses as we loop around, any recommendations welcome.

I cant find my pencil, but looked at flights $320 return right now, but these dates are outside the free cancel period.

Would be good to get a few guys to go, otherwise I could take the wife, but then its not a golf trip

Petey, Greens Beach is meant to be a ripper.

I played Rosebury 13 years ago and had a blast. Its about halfway between Strauchan and Cradle Mountain.

I at Greens Beach and played it for 3 weeks. Great track just unfortunate that the 9th was shortened considerably due to a few dints in some rather expensive RV’s in the van park next door.

East Coast, Orford is ok, Bicheno boring. Far South, Tasman is worth it just for the 8th.

Tasman I am keen for. Early morning as we are staying a night near Port Arthur. Maybe Wynyard as we are staying there. Assuming Covid doesn't **** everything up.

I didn't know. That makes me sad, but I might go for a walk with a ball and putter at sunset

Yeah saw a post on Insta the other night. They didn't want to reveal too much but a couple of pics showed it was looking close. So reckon a walk with a ball and putter at sunset will provide a bit of fun.

Depends on Tas not the lockdown. They have declared greater Brisbane high risk.

Being a month away, anything can happen. Doing anything interstate at the moment is risky.

    Exactly!
How they haven't included both the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast is beyond me. Half the population of both commute to Brisbane for work on a daily basis.
There is not a brain between the lot of them!!

No idea why they included Redlands, although it looks like they picked all the areas adjacent to Brisbane. Very frustrating, but hopefully the high risk flag will be gone quickly and we can still go. 2nd Feb is the date we are flying in ...

With one new case nationally, I suspect the latest restrictions will be removed quickly.

a 3 day lockdown to prevent anything going pear shaped in better than a 3 month lockdown when things get out of hand.

I can't see how anyone can plan any travel now, when borders can be closed while you are in the air, and isolation can be applied retrospectively.
