    Default Barnbougle Dunes - February 8th or 9th 2021, Hobart area 14th-16th

Tassie trip is all booked. Staying at Launceston on these days and looking to play BD. Thought I'd chuck it on here see if anyone else can get there.

Also looking for a hit in Hobart while we are there. I will probably play a few smaller courses as we loop around, any recommendations welcome.

    There is the rub....

We are still trying to get refunds and or credit for some of our bookings for WA that we had to cancel in March. F'd if I am going through that again.

I have been careful to pay limited amounts. And I can use air credit to get to Cairns in July .... Waiting for a week before I cancel everything.

    Pete,
pm me a week before u come down. Might be able to join you at Barny or take u for a game at Royal Hobart.

Forget about golf at Mowbray. I would rather mow the lawn than play there again.

Marto, unless u think u might win it...(need less than 10 over total for 3 rounds), I wouldn’t bother. It is a tree lined course with rock hard fairways in summer. Quirky holes that need a lot of local knowledge. Dog leg holes everywhere. 4 dog leg right par 4’s in a row on the back nine. Shit lies everywhere. It is in a very bogan area that I wouldn’t leave my car parked out in the street at night. You decide!

I agree with Pete, Mowbray is a pretty ordinary golfing experience.

Don't hold back with your review Pete.... hahaha

I do agree with you though, I wouldn't even class it as a goat track personally and have never enjoyed playing there. Marto you can always come down and play in the Open which is being held at Kingston Beach at the same time and currently in good condition considering the climate and changes that green staff are undertaking to have it ready.
