He had time to tuck his shirt in.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Last round of the year, and my driver could not have been colder. Hit 4 fairways, 2 of those with my 3i. Some big misses too, blocking it way right. Good scrambling kept the score respectable - 78/33pts, with 3 doubles.

27 points this morning. Only notable was that my irons were behaving better but that was about it. I've developed a big pull with the driver that is starting to bleed into the longer clubs. Feels like I need some range time to figure out what is causing me to close the face down so much.

30/12/2020, Carbrook GC, Blue Tee Stableford.

    Stats: 8/14 fairways, 5/18 greens, 29 putts.
    Score: PPPXXBPBP BBBXXBPPb; 42:42:84 (+6:+7:+13); 16:18:34pts.

Another stableford score in the thirties, which makes it seven in a row between 32 and 38 for 6 handicap flags, so I've got some consistency there, but within a round it certainly isn't consistent. I scored 10 points in the last three to make it a good score, but four double bogeys in the round isn't cool. It takes a half a dozen holes to get the driver going, but it is the approaches that are still hurting me. Sometimes they are beautiful, and other times garbage, which then makes it very difficult to get up and down for pars, or even bogeys.

Next round: Social 9 holes at Corinda this afternoon to finish off the golfing year.

Last round, last day of the year.

    32 points at Eastern GC.
Had played one of the nines before but not the other. Good track, but the flies there are nothing short of remarkable.

    31/12/2020, Corinda 9 hole, Social.

    Stats: 3/4 fairways, 3/9 greens, 14 putts.
    Score: bPPBPBPPB; 33 (+2).

Terrible with the pitch shots inside 100, except for the first tee shot. The first gave me back to back birdies after the birdie on 18 at Carbrook. With the start, I thought I was on, but I was mistaken .... again.

Next round: I'll look into a Saturday comp round. Maybe Gatton or Esk.

They are unbelievable out there aren’t that! When I was playing there one guy actually wore a net over his head/shoulders to keep them out.

    No it wasn't.

Course is nice, but I couldn't be a member there. The flies would seriously kill the game for me

I enjoyed my time there as a member but I’m not sure it is a place you could be a member there forever (if that makes sense), the flies tended to be a problem for about 2 months over summer for the 2 years I was there.
