Shaft trimming
Any one know what would happen if you trimmed 2 inches from the tip of tapered shafts so that the tip is .370 and installed into heads that take parallel shafts?

I suggest you use some calipers to measure if the shafts will fit before you do any cutting.

Yes, but assuming the size is fine, would impact would it have on the flex of the shaft

If your shafts have at least 3.5" of parallel tip section, you will be hard stepping x4.
