    Original post
I've got clearance for a Sunday morning round either next Sunday or the one after (provided my eldest tags along as usual).

    Anyone interested? Maybe Thaxted @nadg63/@Flavzz?

Wouldn't mind a comp game, help get rid of a low flag before champs

Looks like you're in Coalesce! Nadge is out.

If everyone can get there just before 7 at the latest that would be ideal so we are not paying and rushing to the first tee. Should be a good day.

More interesting layout than The Vines, not in as good a condition tho. Greens can be killers, some severe slopes!

Nice one. No expectations then! That's the best sort of golf.

I’m not worried about the greens at this stage. Will be lucky to get on them before having to pick up...

Coalesce already knows what that is like, experienced it plenty of times

40 points for Flavzz, he'll have to drop the 'l': Favzz for the SA champs.

Thanks for the hit today all.

As expected I was rusty, but the front 9 was ok before fatigue and sore feet led to wipeapalooza on back 9. The pencil got a bit darker for at least some of champs...

Whilst Favzzz was good, everyone needs to watch out for BYU’s new driving iron at champs. That thing’s a weapon!

Thanks for the hit lads, BYU played very well for a 79/33 points. Very steady golf! Still the champs favourite IMO.

My champs odds will increase as will my cap will likely drop a little after this round. I've not had 40 points for a long time so it was good to get some on the board.

Waza and Coalesce both played some good golf. It was starting to get quite warm when we finished so I'm glad we got underway early.

Thanks for the hit guys. The quality of golf was pretty high really, other than a few missed putts.

I'm pretty happy with a 79 at a new course, although my back nine was pretty scrappy. Driver wasn't working well for me, but yes, the U510 is awesome.

22 points for me. NAGA, here we come.
Chipping was woeful, putting was despicable.

To your credit Waza you were burning edges all day. You could easily have made 4-5 more putts.

I forgot to mention one of the highlights of the day was BYUs 290m drive on the long par 4 16th. If you've ever played this hole you'll know it can be a brute so a 290m drive to cut the corner helps a lot!
