Thanks for the well wishes guys.
Just had look at the other leaderboards. Glad I'm not in (B) or (C) grade anymore.
B-Grade is currently being lead with a score of 199, nett (14 under par)
C-Grade is being lead with a score of 188, nett (25 under par). This guy is carrying a 24 stroke lead into the final round over 2nd place .

Great stuff mate, 18 shots is nothing to make up. Just get there early and make it a sledge-fest!

Well... I always say there's a reason why I don't like NETT score/handicap idea.

What a joke! I can't imagine any C grade player being able to shoot that far under their handicap three times in a row to have that nett, let alone the Club Champs.
BURGLAR!

I am actually surprised that you surprised. I always say handicap is a bad idea because it can be managed.

I don't know how else to say it so I'm just going to say it-you're completely wrong. If the guy who is leading has managed his handicap, it's not the fault of the handicap system, the guy is a cheat. If you take away the handicap system, if he is a cheat he will still find a way to cheat and get ahead.
Therefore the fault lies with the person not the handicap system. No matter what system you use a cheat will always cheat.
Just
PS to stay on topic good luck Ryan.

Ok, advice needed from afternoon golfers. How do I prepare for a late start (12:15pm).
On any given Saturday I've usually taken the dog for a walk, played 18 holes, cut the lawn and then sat down for lunch before 12:15pm.

For me I would try to hit a small bucket of ball with driver, long, mid short iron in the morning and get an idea what is the shot going to look like on different club. Chip and putt for about 30 mins to get the feel and so on so forth. Then go to get yourself a decent breakfast and a nice cup of coffee to create a relax atmosphere. Bring this relax feeling to the course and play the 18 holes like you usually do.
Works well for me on Saturday for Nam. open.

I always get to the club up to an hour and a half early. Rushing around to get to the tee on time gets you all flustered, and that's not the way you want to prepare for a big round. You need to be in a relaxed state of mind. I check in with the starter, get something to drink, then head to the range. I usually hit 20 or so 9 irons to get my swing going, then maybe a few with the hybrid, and a half dozen with the driver. Grab a couple of premium balls and do some chipping, then head to the practice green with about 15-20 minutes to spare.

Make sure you have at least your fifth beer in your hand when you walk onto the first tee too.
Good luck, it looks like you are well and truly in the hunt for a placing. Does top 8 qualify you for matchplay?

Go well Ryan,
Assume nothing, we had a guy leading C-Grade in the Champs by about 15 shots one year, with one round to play. He had an aneurism overnight and surprisingly enough wasn't fit to play the next day. We all felt absolutely gutted for him.
