    Default Recommendation > Pull Buggy

    Hey Guys,

Looking for any recommendations on pull buggies. Just getting back into the game after maybe 4 or 5 years (again) and one of the big drivers is to walk the course. Will be in need of a pull buggy. Are clic Gear still the ducks nuts or are there other options out there i should be looking into?

Should add, my current bag is a Titleist Stand Bag, one of the 14 slot ones

If you love your Thermomix, then ClicGear is for you.

BagBoy C3 is my preferred buggy, and works well with stand bags.
(But I also think that the Falcon ute is the pinnacle of automotive design.)

    Can't beat the classic smoothy.

I have both Classic Smoothy and the Clicgear (3 wheel)

They both have plus and minus points.
    Below is only my opinion
    Clicgear
+ folds up compact as one unit (after removing any hang on items)
+ has a number of good hang off accessories
    - does not fit all types of bags infact some fit very poorly and the adapters they sell to help barley improve that fit.

    Classic Smoothy
+ is easily the easiest to push pull for me regardless of which bag I have on it.
+ all bags fit on it and it has the angle adjustments.
+ very stable from tip over
    - doesn't fold up as compact as Clicgear

I cannot be more enthusiastic about recommending Clicgear. Have not tried Smoothy or others but , if they are better than Clicgear, they must be awesome.

After using Clicgear and BagBoy for a few years, going back to a Smoothy on a hilly course with thick kikuyu (when caddying for pennant) felt like a boot camp session.

Agree with this. I've owned both and much prefer the Clicgear. I found the smoothy much harder to get up hills etc but is great over a flat course especially if the fact it doesn't fold up small doesn't bother you. I've owned my Clicgear for nearly 10 years and it's still going strong.

I use a stand bag and they do not get on with clic gears, even with the extra bits for them. I am currently using a smoothy 3 wheeler with a swivel wheel on the front which is good. Also like the axglo flipngo which gco used to sell. They have a 3 wheel version on sale at the moment.

That’s what concerns me with the clicgear and standbags Petey. Maybe I just need a new bag at this rate

Also agree that the Clicgear and stand bags do not work well together in my experience. That is probably their one main downfall.

I use Clicgear with a standbag and is fine.
I wrapped the upper and lower brackets with insulation piping like this from bunnings, recommend doing this with any bag/buggy combo, stops twisting and wear marks on the bag.

I also bought the clicgear cozy which is ok, but not much of an improvement over the piping, unless I am looking for a perfect look.

Clicgear B3 bags on special at GolfBox for $260 at the moment. Not stand bags though.
