Octobers Round is this coming weekend and November is locked in for S.A Champs.
Before we know it December will be upon us so this year I'll get the thread started early to get everyone thinking about a date for the Xmas Mug, S.A Oz Golfs second most important game for the year.

These are the Sunday dates for December:
Sunday 6th - the weekend after S.A Champs
    Sunday 13th
    Sunday 20th
Sunday 27th - most unlikely as too close to Xmas
    Sunday January 2nd
It can be any other day if enough people are available for the same date if any Sunday is not suitable.

Discuss dates you will or wont be available.

I have Xmas up at the Farm in Ardrossan one of those weekends normally.
This far out I have no idea if that's on this year atm.

The earlier this is the more likely I am to be able to make it, as I usually spend Christmas interstate. Not sure about this year yet though.

One thing is for certain, lunch will definitely not be at the Lobethal pub!

I won't be setting foot in that place again. Not welcoming and down right rude

Their customer interaction has been rather poor.
Not sure what the other Pub is like. Think someone mentioned it's a bit of a Bogan Pub?
I've got no idea what the Gumeracha Pub is like for meals?
Wooodside Pub was nice but that was quite few years ago since I had a meal there.

They took an instant disliking to your choice of pants Hatchy, not going to repeat the conversation I heard over the internal phone a few years ago (when she was asking if the kitchen was open).

6th and 13th would work for me at this stage, although the 6th might be too close to champs.

I'll likely be in for this. Always an enjoyable day. Might bring out the all retro Titleist set for this.

    Bump

Found out on the weekend no early Xmas at the farm this year for me.
going by some of the chat so far it's looking like one of the first 2 Sundays in December might be the go for this.
I know many of you will have your focus on Kitcheners and the Red Jacket for Champs but we need to lock this one in also as December will be here before we know it.

I'm ok with either Sun 6th or Sun 13th.

The 6th is no good for me and seems way too close to Champs

13th possible but we are still working out the family vacation at present. The destination subject to border restrictions (update coming Friday)

20th would be ideal and im open for that day but appreciate if its too close to xmas for some

The 20th would probably be no good for me. No plans locked in yet, but likely to be interstate for Christmas.
