Golf terminology
Hi Ozgolf forum,
Is there a term for holing out from off the green, apart from holing out from off the green?
I can find "slam dunk" for landing in the cup without touching the putting green surface. And "double poley" for sinking a putt from off the green (an old betting term; a "poley" being a putt longer than the flagpole). But I'm looking for a term for sinking an approach shot that bounces or rolls on the green and finds the cup.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Flogger
