"How did you remove the grip, cut it?"
No....blew it off with compressed air and saved it in case it gets sold one day.

Okay so more detail on removing grip with compressed air...NOTE you need a special grip removing nozzle for your compressor...flip out the Arccos sensor with a small screwdriver, you will find the end of the grip is sealed and underneath there is a plastic counterweight plug in the shaft so you need to get a 1/8+" small drill bit and drill a hole into the grip and plastic end plug/counterweight that is in the end of the shaft under the rubber grip. Then you can blast off the grip.

Notch up a Women’s US Open victory.👏
Didn’t use it for the last three holes she birdied though.
Are you sure the plug wasn't attached the the sensor? Both my sensors slipped out in one go - i went well down the edge of the grip and flipped em both out. They are about 10mm high. I know it was supposed to come out as it did because an arccos tape strip is still around one of them and includes a rubber section. There was plain grey rubber underneath the color of the buttcap.
Looking into the end of the grip there is a grey flat rubber section about 12mm down the grip with a small opening in the center. My grip remover nozzle went straight in. There was nothing to drill.
Sensor looked almost identical to this

are these sensors useful to anyone once removed? Sounds like the grip is trashed in the process.
I have a couple but as the grips are the worst (for me) I wont be using them.

Okay, so I have had my G425 Max for about 6 weeks now and last week shot best round for a while - with my old G400!!! The G425 is definitely longer but I don't like the sound and I don't like the feel of the strike. Going back to my trusty G400 was like putting on some old favourite slippers, just feels right Now I have a dilemma especially when the G425 from a Xmas present from the missus!!!

Hmm, if only it was a 9*... so tempting.
An update...I went to a driving range today and just so happens they are a Ping retailer as well. I mentioned my unhappiness with my driver and they suggested I try their demo head with my shaft....Chalk and Cheese!!! Their driver performed as I had experienced when I was fitted with a consistent flight and feel, sound was not as loud too (I should have bought the demo!!!), so its over to Drummond and Ping now to see if I can get a replacement head.

The driver is getting rave reviews now its been released in the USA and UK, that's what prompted me to go try it out again, but mine just does not perform as I expect...or I am going mad.

And a big statement from Ricky Bobby!!

With limits on COR,it's basically choosing which driver will give you the most distance with the least dispersion from off centre strikes.

Qudos to Ping and Drummond Golf (Shellharbour)....Drummond was very concerned about my results with this driver, they collected it and sent it to Ping...while Ping did not say anything negative about the original one I had they sent me a new one...this new one is fantastic and performs just like the demo one I had tried at the driving range. They also sent me a pack of weights incase I wanted to tinker with the setup. FYI... I play with a 2 and a 3 marker each week, they had both tried my original G425 and did not like it. After I got this new driver they were standing next to me at our driving range, unknown to them I had the replacement head. When I hit the first shot they both commented straight away that the sound was completely different and asked what I had done to achieve that. Thanks again Ping and Drummond Golf.
