Why would it be better than the G “enter a number beginning with 4“ here?

Yep, hit it at the range during a fitting and ordered straight away. On Trackman with range balls the gains I saw were great, it's insanely forgiving.
I only hit the MAX because I told him i wanted the most forgiveness and didn't end up needing to try the LST or the SFT.
I was I took a screenshot of the trackman screen is all I can say. It was a big change.
In the end there were 3 shafts, then 2.
Some type of Rogue??
and
Ping Tour 75g S
Tensei Orange 65g X
In the end it was down to feel and the Ping Tour was the one.

Thanks for that.
I'm going to hit it later today. I feel a dent in the wallet coming up.

You were right, it is extremely forgiving. I liked the feel of the rogue but the tensei orange gave me the best numbers so got that in stiff in 10.5..

They’ve been steadily going up for 3-4 years.
Combo of weak Aussie dollar, more expensive processes, better shafts etc but I think the biggest driver is the PXG affect. Mainstream Golf companies realised that people would pay more.
The spike in prices essentially began with the Callaway Epic series I think?

Regarding Aussie prices, that little prick gerry harvey didn't help, either. Getting back to the club, it's definitely worth demoing if you are in the market for a new driver.

Agree, I detest the prick. When COVID kicked off, people are being laid off left right and centre, and Harvey goes out publicly and announces "this won't be bad for everybody"... ****wit

After having a hit of an old G driver recently i went along to a demo/ fit day today and hit the 425 max with three different shafts. I was expecting it to be great but it wouldn't knock my old Nike out of the bag. Hit a hybrid and fairway also with some different shaft combinations but unfortunately no love for them either.
I might just think about a G or G30 instead.

Went to a demo day yesterday, hit the max and found I am swinging about 97mph now, 7 more then 4 years ago when I got my gbb. Was fit to a tensei orange in stiff. Gained 17m and dispersion improved dramatically.
I am now the proud owner of a 9 degree with tensei orange in stiff.
Can’t wait to give it a good test in next Friday’s dingo hill at gailes.
