I remember playing in the Open Day last year and it was 43-44 degrees. It was brutal. We literally limped home after 16.

Pushing a buggy around RA wasteland is harsh even in nice weather.

Depends on when the skip arrives but won't be going past 11AM, then starting again around 5PM, Saturday morning will be an early start, probably 6am.

Sunday in doubt no question. I need this skip filled before I take off up the murray river

Put your old putters in there, it'll be full in no time

Yep, I'm so not sorry that I'll not be sat in a rally car in full fireproof race kit, crash helmet etc! (had to do it once before during Classic Adelaide, 43*, was not nice)

So glad this is off now. Back killing me after 4 days of solid work at home while locked down.
Been for massage on it but they just want to rub something else.

November is really hard for you and me as we both serve similar industries (where it goes insane coming into the Christmas rush). Plus it’s always a gamble with coring and the weather.

This probably for another thread but I think we should consider moving champs to Autumn

Would RA be OK for a hack like me (23 HC, but with little to no play recently I'm likely shooting closer to 100+)? I don't want to be holding up the quality golfers.

    What quality golfers?

My HCP was higher than yours when it was last active. You’d be just as good/bad as me.

You'll be fine mate. I'm sure there's plenty of RA members that have a cap similar or higher. If you're ready to hit your shot when it's your turn you'll never have issues playing anywhere.

play the white tees or the red tees even. You will have fun. Jusst watch the ball on the first few holes where the rough is very long, and play conservative with the recovery. It isn't easy.

Thanks TC! Assuming this is for next Sunday (the 6th) I'll pencil in for sure... if it's this weekend (the 29th) I'll be busy unfortunately. Sorry, can't narrow in on what weekend we're talking about.

Shouldn't you be filling a skip, not posting on the forum?

Working today, no point having an annual leave day in this weather, will get started at 4PM

Fair enough. I'm in the same boat - was planning on doing a half day today, but did those jobs yesterday instead when it wasn't as hot.

I have Waza's details so will PM you

CC will probably ask you to hold onto the funds in advance for the March champs 2021; he did with the Friday game for me
