As it’s a little further than we normally go I’ll set the start time as 8:30am instead of 8:00am

It’s a long drive so would not mind if we skip lunch. Hatch: we could go see your no.1 fan on the way home if you like

I'm still all in for this.
If it's put off there will be no re-do in a few weeks as S.A Champs will be fast approaching.

Eraser of the pencil for me. Apologies. Too much on.

Looking forward to SA Champs though, and hearing reports on Lake Albert.

Honesty box but their website says hire carts are available - I'll need to give them a call to see what the deal is.

Some one brings one up if you book. Think that's what happened last time.

    Played 9 holes this afternoon.

    View from the first.

Fairways are good and greens are not too bad.

    A bit better than Strath.

If they get a cut and roll by Sunday they should be quite good.

7th green looking back up the fairway with the 10th on the right.

Still $25 for the day, honesty box.

Thanks for the round guys. Longer drive than usual, but a really nice setting for a golf course, with some great holes. Greens were the weakest part, but they were serviceable.

I want to thank everyone for putting up with my son the last few outings - he's been pretty good and thoroughly enjoyed it, and it's let me get to more of these days than I'd otherwise be able to. I won't be bringing him to the champs though, they're too important

thanks for the hit guys and Hatch for the company to and fro. Weather and conditions were perfect for golf.

Lake Albert was in relatively good condition, fairways were lush and greens were better than last time. Still struggle a bit with the bumpiness but reasonable for what they were.

Standout holes for me were 12: a short deceptive Par 3, 16; a cracking dogleg Par 4 with an excellent small green and 17. The remaining were good quality on what is an impressive layout.

    Looking forward to champs.

I thought he was really well behaved. My kids would have completely cracked it by the 9th hole

Thanks to all that made it for the hit and thanks TC for the lift there.
Yes it’s a bit of a longer drive than most of our rounds but for an absolute cracking layout it’s well worth it.
