    Default Ping New Release

Heard from the Ping rep today that the new woods will be available from 1 October. Anyone heard any rumours on names etc?

Good to hear. I wanted to pull the trigger on a G410 in September but might be worth waiting to see what the new gear is like first.

The dude I played with on Sunday was swinging a 410 driver with a red Accra shaft. Dropped $1600 for that combo at Cool Clubs.
    Maybe I missed something.
24 carat cap on the grip?
1 hour session with Cool Clubs promo girls??

No he got a CC sticker on his shaft.

    Win!😎

Must be a genuine $500 shaft, but the G410 is getting long in the tooth now

They charge you for the stock shaft as well as the upgraded shaft. Then here’s the kicker you don’t even get to keep the stock shaft 😝.

Technically they dont buy the stock shaft because they cant buy the head only from any OEM.They used to toss the stock shafts in the bin, but afterthey figured out people were making too much money out of their bin, some sort of arrangement has been formalised.

Picked up my new G410 irons today & was talking to the fitter & he said that, in Australia, the G425s will be out in 6 weeks/early October.

So looks like a return visit to check out the new driver

I've already noticed the market is starting to get flooded with G410s in anticipation of this. If you're like me and in the market for a 410 hold off a month until the 425s hit. Should be good buying.

Would PING give discounts on their Irons if the new model is coming out?I recall that they always held their price in the past.

I can't speak for new products but the second hand market will have to drop. Supply and demand.

yeah, you are right, the driver is $899 - retail prices are all mentioned on the American golf press release, just dunno where that can be found. I think the irons were $249
i might have read it on my facebook feed - its not on their website

so if you're talking $8-900 off the shelf....stock as a rock, add the couta shaft, not made for, fitting, weighting, grip, maybe not so bad for a unique piece of equipment that is suited, buy it love it, plenty of other past times that chew up heaps more in far less time and are not custom built, how much do people spend on putters that are NOT custom built, OMG!! you know ...them Circle thingy's

True, yet I still wish it was closer to $700. Near a grand is hard to swallow for any single golf club.

the manufacturers are the ones getting the big lick when you're paying over your sweet spot for an off the shelf box special

Prices probably up because they can't get the Uighurs or Falun Gong practitioners to make them in slave labour camps anymore.
