MacBook air??

Daughter wants to buy one for uni. Will only be the base model. We know nothing about Mac's. Anything she should know before ordering?

Buy from Apple outlet and save some bucks, and just get the base model. I have bought 30-40 macbooks from there and they are indistinguishable from new.

Unless she is making pixar movies she doesnt need anything but the cheapest one.

I have used a Macbook Air for 3 years and it has not skipped a beat.

My recommendation is to get a cheap fascia/shell that protects it from scratches. If I take mine off it looks like the laptop is brand new.

Once you go Mac you will never go back, 11 years and counting!

Ordered. Yeah she was only after the base one, and was surprised she didn't have to supply any proof to get the student price.
