    Default Jumbomax golf grips

Anyone using these? Hit my mates f9 on the range before a round today and he has a jumbomax grip on it and was hitting it great. Felt kind of weird but could get used to it i think. What you guys think?

I haven't bought any Jumbomax grips as yet, but play occasionally with a guy in the Brisbane Vets that swears by them. Golf National in Sumner (Qld) are the Aussie Distributors I think.

I am however using Oversize Grips on my Drivers at present, to see if there is any obvious benefit. The jury is still considering that one. As you get older the thicker grips also help with the inevitable Arthritis.

I dropped into Golf National recently and bought a few samples of the JumboMax Grips and a few alternative Arthritic Grips. I got a tour of the warehouse and was shown the differences in the various models. The original JumboMax models are very heavy (120g +). So they introduced an Ultralite model which are between 46 and 51g, depending on size. Sizes range from XS to XL. The XL and L are huge. I bought one of each size to try. So far I have used an XS and an S (on Driver). Initial impressions are neutral. There wasn't any real negatives, but I haven't had a wow moment either. They are nice and soft and fit into the hand easily, but so far I have not noticed any notable differences to my normal Midsize grip feel etc.

Do you use the same hand grip? Interlocking fingers etc....
Or go to a baseball grip which I first had when starting to play golf.
Once you go yellow, you will never go back

Slightly off topic but both are interesting questions when you throw in the overlap or Vardon Grip as it's known into the mix.
Jack Nicklaus & Tiger Woods are famous users of the interlock.

Wonder whats the most common used by Golfers on this site.
    Overlap Grip
    Interlock Grip
    Base Ball Grip
    Reverse Base Ball Grip

    Back to on topic.
I prefer fatter grips as the hands/fingers seem to sit more natural.
I always feel like I'm contorting my hands/fingers when the Grips are too thin.
That was no more evident when I first saw and changed to a fat Putter Grip 15 odd years before they became the in thing. Hands felt so much more comfortable.
