Happy to go with the majority. We've never played Penfield. A bit quirky in places but it's the site of last season's famous SA Public Course Pennants Final win for (R)NHGC!

The Dunes would be nice. Am happy to provide a lift to anyone wanting to go but not wanting to drive that far.

Nadg and I looked into Penfield last year. Cant play early on Sundays like we prefer so put it in the forget about it basket.

The Dunes could be an interesting visit; I haven't been there for quite some time

Still recovering from my rib injury but expect to be good by then

The Dunes would be really interesting, but I don't think I can get there in July. Would be a better chance for something around the Barossa.

Dunes is ok but may be better suited to better weather. Happier with Barossa options

Looks like Barossa Valley is the go for this.
I've just emailed them to see if there are problems with any Sunday bookings before we start to quickly lock the date in.

It isn't my issue, but I would have thought the Barossa could be quite cold in July? Especially for an early morning start.
Perhaps I am wrong. TC would know.

For an early morning tee off around 5 degrees in the peak of winter - sometimes colder

You get used to it, bear in mind growing up I used to play early morning hockey at Moculta (Eden Valley) temp often dropped to zero.

A cold morning is small price to pay for zipping around a course in an acceptable time and still leave a bit of time to do something in the afternoon if needed.

I think the consensus at the moment that it will be Barossa/Nuri. That said, the first Sunday, 5 July is out for me.

I'd also prefer later in July. 19th or 26th would be ideal but don't base it just on me.

Just rang the potato's as reponding to emails seems to be difficult for them.

I've Booked 3 Groups for Sunday July 19th starting from 8am.
Time for everyone to confirm they are a starter for that now.
