Medal @ Richmond. 78/69. Birdied the 1st, missed 5 footers for birds on 2 and 17, but drained a few decent length ones when I needed to.

Throw in the typical couple of doubles that can ruin a stroke round, and things could have been better.

Irons were going well...focused on being more connected in my backswing and keeping on a good plane.

Also, considering we're back to a 2 tee start, fairly happy to get around in 3:45ish.

30 points at Stirling GC today. Rained pretty much all day and got very hectic on the last 2 holes. 907D2 performed well.

4BBB with a mate today in the local Presidents cup qualifier. 46 points will qualify us to next weeks match play QFs which is pretty cool. Never played team match play before.

80/76 stroke today in the rain with a double on the card, was a little tough and missed 3 inside 10 foot birdie putts to get back some shots but wet greens where tough.

Had a hit with the social club this morning at Brisbane River golf club (Karana Downs). Wasn't all that accurate off the tee but a lot of holes had fairways that stopped then started again prior to the green, so a few were straight enough hits that just went into that rough area. I hit my irons better after making a small adjustment in the takeaway. Chipping was good today, set up seven 1-putts and one went straight in. My handicap went up after the rubbish round last time, ended up with 93 today with 28 putts (61 nett) to finish fourth, par was 66. Reasonably happy with how I went, didn't top any and not many hit fat either which was pleasing.

How was the course looking, Kelsey? It's somewhere that I will probably target as a place to play with my hacker mates, when they want to step up from the regular 9 holes to 18.

The greens weren't great, but the rest of it wasn't too bad. Probably be a bit better after the rain lately too. Had to have the obligatory hit across the river with an old ball, probably my best drive of the day, straight as an arrow and halfway up the bank on the other side 😂😂

One of those days that you play well but just can't score.
3 wiped holes were all shots into trees that usually be found in light tree lines.

A pretty ordinary day for me today for 31 points. I just didn't quite have any part of my game working properly. My only real positive was some better putting, including my first holed putt over 10 feet for at least 5 rounds.

The other real positive was an open clubhouse, so we could have a proper sitdown drink and post mortem after the round.

No good me talking about points... I'm a simple golfer (shots off the stick) these days, will lift my game soon and learn more about the game.

Local course is par 70, my first hit in 18 months I was 91 off the stick. Pretty happy with that

Cheers. It's been too long since I played regularly. Now I am a member that will change. Plan is to get some consistency then start playing competition here.

Only 28 points for me today, and I was lucky to get that. Lots of bad golf. I did, however, hit a fantastic 9 iron on a par 4 to 3 feet. Unfortunately it was my 4th shot after a failed chipout and successful one. At least I holed the putt to save 5 a 2.

First post-corona stroke round today. A slow start today, double bogeying the first two holes, but came back a bit with an eagle on 7 and ended up with a 78/71 (par 71). Chipping and putting was a lot better today than it has been, and didn't waste too many shots (other than the first two holes that is). I've been a slow started quite often lately, which is frustrating.

Only 25 putts, thanks to some nice up-and-downs, and a chip in (albeit for par) on 16. Managed to lose a ball just off the fairway on 10, but saved bogey with nice 6 iron and putt.

Single Stableford at Half Moon Bay. 31 points on a day when I felt like I was fighting my swing the whole round. Eventually surrendered and wiped the last two holes.

34 points today with a really poor wipe from a drive out of bounds. Only 28 putts and hit some really good iron shots.
