Having an x-ray on Tuesday, hoping it's just a bruised rib cage rather than broken

Gee you've had a few accidents lately, what'd you do this time? Hopefully everything's ok.

Getting back into running there was a raised concrete paver that I just clipped, enough to send me tumbling onto the payment hands, arms, then rib cage

I've bruised my ribs before, and pulled one of the muscles in that region - it bloody hurts doesn't it! (and it does feel like you've broken something, coughing/laughing are a big no-no!)

I tried playing yesterday, hit that many pulls it was amusing. Body just would not follow through at the grimace of pain

Yep, been there done that! All you can do is rest it as best you can, can take ages to heal as there's no magic cure

Get well soon TC... you were missed.

Great morning. Started out extremely chilly, but less than an hour in and I was de-layering. Sorry I had to rush at the end gents, hopefully will have more time next month. Turned out it wasn't too slow given our early start.

Was great to experience a new course... really enjoyed it. Shot some pars (unusual for me) and shot some double digits (not unusual), but in the end happy with my 102.

    Thanks again!

Yes, was a good day. Greens weren't in great condition - they rolled well, just full of pitch marks.

My driver was mostly working for me today, but I was let down by my short game and putting, which was frustrating.

I do like the course, some really good holes. Shame 3 of the 4 par 3s were playing about the same length, they'd be better off the normal blue tees. Still, a good day.

Bit cool first up but it turned out to be an absolute cracker of a day in the end. It’s not too often you get no wind on this course. Thanks everyone for our biggest turn up of numbers for a S.A OzGolf hit for quite a while. Good thing we played early as coming up 18 I noticed there was 3 groups banked up waiting to hit off the 10th.

The course has changed a fair bit since I last played it many years ago. It’s much tighter wide of the second cut with many more trees and bushes along with them being bigger and taller. Lots of bunkers fairway and green side have also been added to the layout. Greens are also completely different from the mostly medium size flat targets they used to be. Lots of tricky interesting putts to be had now with the contours.
Pity about all the pitch marks in the greens, they look like a teenager with an acne problem. They rolled mostly true and were sneaky quick in pace.
I’d be happy to return again some day but it’s must to play early.

Likewise I quite enjoyed the day. We were greeted with a 3 degree morning and frost covered ground but the weather quickly warmed up. My golf as per the last month was pretty inconsistent but short game was decent. Got up and down multiple times. 907D2 was about what I expected it would be, a little spinny but straight when I didn't try take the cover off the ball.

Waza played well. Swung it freely all day.

Hatchy as I'm sure he would agree didn't play his best. Plenty of good shots but I have high expectations of his game 😁

Thanks for the hit today guys. Really enjoyed the day. Even got the ball of the ground for most of it.
Pity about the pitch marks but standard for a fullpubluc course. Might need signs at each green

Thanks also for the hit guys. Thanks to Wenz and Bro for great company. Really enjoyed the still conditions and wide, wide fairways. The front 9 suited my eye, so much so I got around 2 over off the stick with plenty up and downs to be had, despite the moonscape greens. The 10th turned out to be my nemsis and scoring from then on lost all relevance. Then it was just a bomb fest between myself and Wenz. I think I got him a couple of times but oh, to be 20 years younger!! Great fun. Really looking for the next one.

    What a great day!
Chilly in the morning but forgotten shortly after the 2nd hole. The course is in great condition albeit the pitch marks on the green. In saying that though, I don't recall ever having to repair one in my line of putt, could just be lucky though.
Thanks HP for the company. We started very strong but that #10 really stalled it. Such an easy hole on paper. Oh well that's golf? Easy pars on stroke index 1 & 2 but struggle to make bogey on 10.
Looking forward to the next one. Let's try keep the numbers up.
