Thread: Ping G20 Shaft

  1. #1

    Default Ping G20 Shaft

    I admit to being a long time user... of the Titleist 905r that is... 9.5* Aldila NV 65 stiff old school swamp green shaft. I love it, i hit it well... but the head spins a lot.

    Came across a g20 head, 10.5*

    To answer your question... 905r not for sale

    My Question: What are some favourite shaft combos with Ping G series or low spin drivers? Match low spin with low spin... low spin/high spin?

    (...or just pop another NV in?)

    Off the shelves the Ping tour stiff gave me low spin numbers. Swapped over to the Tensei white and still get mid to low 2000 with high launch on my G410+

    The G20 did pretty well in this comparison, shaft was an Aldila;
