Default Something more forgiving than my Mizuno blades

Ok so i struggled yesterday with my blades after not playing for 2 months and no warm up (no range or net allowed at my club)
Has me thinking that i may need something more forgiving
Ping i210, G410, Callaway Apex, Mizuno or similar - open to suggestions
Stiff to Xstiff - currently play X stiff but may consider stiff - nothing to light in weight
Standard length 37.75-38 5 iron and std lie
Budget depends on model, age etc
    Cheers

    Jonti,
if you know me u know I have played everything...and I choose to play Wilson FG Tour V6’s.
They are like a smaller headed AP2 with better feel and less offset. They have tungsten in the soles
to help MOI and a player sized cavity.

    great looks and great feel.

get these and you will not be disappointed.

here is a set with x100 shafts in very good condition. This is what I would recommend!

I agree with Pete, great clubs but made the game too easy so got rid of them.

Have to agree the Wilson FG Tours have been a very under rated club for manny a year. I’m still playing the V4s.

I have a set of Wilson FG Tour M3 irons spare atm. They are about halfway between a GI or players iron. Might be the ticket.

Any interest in Bridgestone Tour B X-CB 4-PW? Currently shafted with C-Taper 120S, 1/4" over and a touch flat. Can get the length and lie adjusted locally.

They feel great, I just don't really need 3 sets of irons.

Stick with the Mizunos, forget about these gibberers going on about Wilsons. They are like married blokes trying to convince you to get involved in their mistakes.

Post my recent "bullish" purchase of something Nemo was looking to offload, I've got 5-PW JPX850's forged, with orange Golf Pride grips, KBS Tour 120S shafts if that means anything. I can guarantee with the orange grips they are findable in even the toughest rough.

7 irons, yours for $350. Condition 8/10, 8 iron has a small ding on the toe, centre's unmarked.

Another fan of the V6 irons. Great feel and surprisingly forgiving for a smallish head.

I love the look of a blade in the bag, and behind the ball, but only playing 4-5 times a year these days my game isn’t good enough

i have TM P790s. They look the goods, and are very very forgiving. Best irons I have owned!

My pro reckoned he was crapping himself while bending them.they were honestly crazy. I brought the 8i to pureform the other week while getting a FW fitting and Michael measured the lie as being that of a 60° wedge.

Plus I might add, when I said I was there for shafts only as I love the flash heads, the guy lost a lot of interest and spent a considerable amount of time trying to get me to buy a flash hybrid. Which I didn't want. (But had fun hitting) I was pretty disappointed in the session tbh.
