Welcome DC. Where in Northern Sydney are you? I’m at Turramurra.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

    Welcome DC.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

    3 months into golf & I've got myself a handicap... 23
thanks to @Perry Groves for selling me his JPX850s

Just after some advice, I started with a set of Tour Edge HL3 irons in R flex and they're very very forgiving
but moved into the 850s(stiff) I love them but not finding the middle enough... mainly due to less time playing.

I was thinking to re shaft the HL3's to stiff and also cut them down .5 as they're a little longer than the JPXs and I'm 5'8

long term I would like to get fit but wanted to bring that handicap down first

    cheers

Get the lie angle sorted rather than shorten the shafts first.Might also have different swing weights in the 2 sets
