First round since late March, due to course closure in Vic.

Simply stunning autumn day in Melbourne.

34 points today, felt like 40 points after such a long lay off. Should have been 38 points but I couldn't get the speed of the greens. 5 x 3 putts

Had a hit at Gailes today, a pretty ordinary round even by my ordinary standards. Just about everything drew left for some reason, and when I aimed a bit right to allow for it, the damn thing just went straight. On the upside chipping and putting was pretty good, chipped in on one of the par 3s, and the greens looked great. Was able to judge the speed pretty well, not always the line. Didn't lose any balls either. 107/79 in the end, only hit 4 fairways and one green. 32 putts.

    No doubt.

Managed to snag these, 3 Ben Hogan persimmon woods and a Nike staff bag for 150 schmeckels. A relative steal.

I had a couple Snake Eyes Hybrids, 15 and 18. Best clubs I ever hit. I wish I could remember who I sold them too.

Was much this same last week, hadn't swung a club for nearly 3 months, played on the Friday and won the comp with 34 points. Ball striking was absolutely amazing for what I thought i'd serve up, but like you I couldn't ind the bottom of the hole. Missed i think about 5 putts for birdie inside 8 feet, and lipped out multiple others. 34 points was the worst score I could have shot.

Following day I dished up 25 points, swings and roundabouts!

It looks like it might be a wet winter for us, so I might need to get used to playing in semi-casual water conditions like we had today. My 34 points in the conditions was quite good, and it could have been much better with some decent putting (again). I holed a 60 footer, but nothing else over 4 feet.

Bit of a "what could have been" round this morning. Even par after 10, 6 over on the last 8 . A few bad shots, and a 3 putt on 17 (nearly sunk a long one for birdie, then missed the ~4 footer coming back). Still, something's working if you can call 37 points a bad round.

The golfers score during the round always trends towards his median or average.

36 points (17/19) this morning at Richmond. I wasn't really keeping track of my points accumulation (more so the fact that I somehow missed a couple of tap ins, yet binned half a dozen putts that were at least 15 feet), birdied 18 with one of those 15ish footers, then did the adding up and was pleasantly surprised.

37 points this morning. Much better all round except I let myself down with 4 3-putts.

Ball striking was so much better I hit 9 GIR but could only convert one into a birdie.

38 points this morning in the rain.

17 round the front before holing a few big putts coming home - except a 3 footer I carelessly missed the entire hole...

Was nice to actually play ok after a very ordinary run recently

    Another day of 2golf.

18 points on the front 9... but blew upon the back 9. 2 birdies didn't save my butt. Ended the day with 30 points.

Took the Snake Eyes out again after last week's success and they went a step better. Even par 72 for 39 points.

    8/14 fairways

    8/18 GIR

    27 putts

    2 birdies, 2 bogies, 14 pars.

Scores not golflinked yet for some reason, but a 1.9 flag dropping off means I won't move a lot. Maybe 3.2 to 3.0?
