Default Getting our kids to fall in love with the game + my sons video

I remember the moment I fell in love with the game.. I was 9 years old and my dad would take me to the range to hit some balls, however, that was not the moment. It was when I would run down to the local high school with the stolen balls from Dad's bag and hit them between the goal posts. From that moment I was hooked!!

My little boy Isaiah caught the bug at a very young age just by watching the coverage and hitting his plastic set around.. he progressed to his youth clubs and LOVES getting out on the course. Unfortunately I snapped my leg in half last year so I had not been able to take him out but when I finally did after 6 months I decided to film some of it..

Please have a watch and leave a comment on his Youtube video https://youtu.be/8mvO1hGlsaI as he loves hearing from people on it!

It is so important as a golf community that we get our kids to love the game so our clubs are all viable moving forward.

Thanks for reading and hopefully watching!

Aside from how well he hits it I was impressed when after chunking a practice swing, the first thing he did was fix the mini divot. It’s the little things.

Great post Mint my son is 8 and I have been feeling for the last few months it is time to get him into the game and now is the perfect time with every other sport being closed down . Just bought a set of junior clubs for him so see how it goes , hopefully he loves the game as much as what I do

I don't want to get my kids to fall in love with the game. If they want to play, all good, if not, I am not going to think any less of them.
