I discussed this exact thing with Benno_r at the Qld Champs last year. Getting the alphabet completed is a thing that parkrunners aim for.

I don't know that the full set is possible in golf. I did a quick search and couldn't find any courses starting with either X or Z. That said, I'll still aim to play Federal, Ocean Dunes & Ulverstone GC.

It's a shame Zilzie Bay course shut down. Andy and I checked it out at Qld champs last year.

They ignore 'X' since a course starting with the letter doesn't exist.

I have been to Inverness, but all we did was get hammered before getting the train back to London. Look fwd to Ulverstone, my other mate who has moved down there is playing at Geeveston so I've gotta get down there as well.

I played the original Zilzie sand green course. Clubhouse and one par 3 was on the edge of a cliff over the ocean. I think its become houses now.

this got me curious so I did some digging. The Zilzie course closed before 1990 and I played it in 1986
here is an aerial shot dated 1981. courtesty of https://qimagery.information.qld.gov.au
The Zilzie bay site is outside this frame to the south west.
Its a great shame that both Aussie Z courses are now closed.
