We almost hit our membership limit which would have been nice. Things are settling back down now.

Saturdays in April and May were down significantly at my joint.
Timesheets are full now but plenty of last minute bailing going on.

We have gone to single tee starts and the time sheet is full of fours. With little other sport on a lot of people that normally play football or hockey or whatever else are out on the course.
I think thats the nail on the head Toolish. There has been no kids sports so Dad gets to play more golf.
I know of at least one club (Wynnum) that isn't rushing to re-open the club house for members, only for functions where they do make money. The members get the hole in the wall option during comps etc.
Reddie Bay has changed a lot of things whilst the shutdown was in effect. And more to come I believe.
Since 1 July we have been completely back to normal.
The clubhouse is open and trading normally. The crowd rule is now calculated on 1 person per 2 square metres, which seems sufficient. Signing in every time is a bit of a pain, but not really a problem.
Normal comp times and procedures, but you have to be very quick to get a tee time. Definitely more full time players, and also more members doing 9 holes after the comp.
Personally, I'd love it if we kept preferred lies in the bunkers, because I've been going really well from them. The flags staying in I have got used to, so I am blaming my poor putting on pure incompetence.

Ok so I won't bring a reel mower for the next round.
So the video mentions 2 strategies that have been used and other isolation methods used during previous pandemics. There's other options that have been taken around the world too. What we did is not the only way to manage the situation.
The point I'm making is that surely the decisions we make now will be based on the evidence of strategies from around the world since the first wave and not just locking people in their homes a second time round. It might have flattened the curve but at a cost of over $200 billion dollars, I sure as shit hope they've come up with a plan B if there is another rise in cases and they hit the panic button. Nearly half a trillion dollars of total stimulus if it happens again will be a big f#&kin hole to come back from.
Your club spent half a trillion?
The patients should get 5 years free accommodation as well.
Wasn't the guy in WA sneaking out of hotels jailed?
Heard the rep for the security guards saying they weren't given enough training!!!
Don't need training to know you don't sleep with someone in quarantine.
Absolute disgrace.
My club is in NSW, I would guess 80% of the players live in Victoria. It will be an interesting time to see what happens with the latest closures. I am not sure if golf is a reason for a permit!
Had booked my first game of golf in nearly 12 months for this friday over the border, neckminit, 😳😳 border clubs will certainly suffer
