These guys must know more than us.

The coronavirus is wreaking havoc with large Defence gatherings, with the RAAF cancelling a major aviation conference that was due to take place in Canberra on March 24-25.

The Air Power Conference was expected to attract around 1000 military and aviation industry heavyweights from around the world.

In a statement, organisers said the conference would not go ahead due to concerns over containment of the coronavirus

How will your club respond and absorb the cost of cleaning it?

MANILA - One of the Philippines' oldest and most exclusive golf clubs went on lockdown on Wednesday (March 11) after a guest tested positive for the coronavirus shortly after returning to Singapore.

The Wack Wack Golf and Country Club, in Mandaluyong city just east of Manila, is closing its golf course and clubhouse "to disinfect and sanitise the premises, to ensure that our club remains safe for everyone", club president Lawrence Tan said in a letter.

Just the lack of Patrons is going to bring a few to their Knees.

It seems to me that the world is setting fire to the house to stop a disease that we are probably going to get anyway.

You would think so but after working with the RAAF under contract for the last 3 or so years I seriously have my doubts.
For majority of my life, I have admired and respected our defence and its personnel. Now after personally dealing and witnessing over time, I'm convinced that
    stupidity reigns.
I am totally for containment of COVID 19 but for me personally, I am not going to fear, fear itself and still go about my daily business.

"Cancel Everything" has taken hold in the US. We will be next.

Make sure you have a comfy place to watch TV, because thats all we will be doing for the next month or so.

Is it the fear of the Virus? Is it fear the insurance will not cover the promoters if someone falls ill or at worst dies?

Only winners I can see in all this at the moment will be lawyers finding clauses in contracts.

How long before they all work out how much money they are losing and bring in the policy of if you don't want to be there to watch or compete, then don't go.

It is fear of the spread of the virus at such a rapid rate that our medical care infrastructure cannot handle it.

Understandable that our medical infrastucture would not be able to handle a rapid outbreak. Can't usually handle an average Saturday Night.
