Default Best course on Sydney's north side that's accessible?

    Hi Folks,

Could anyone in Sydney tell me what are the best courses on the north side of Sydney that would take visitors, most likely on a Tuesday?
I know most are private and exclusive...all I can think of is Mona Vale and Long Reef. Might be looking for somewhere to play on the north side on the way back from the Central Coast.
    Thanks in advance,
    FJ.

Asquith would be the easiest to get to on your way back. It’s not spectacular but nice enough and I can’t imagine getting on it on a Tues arvo would be an issue.

Mona Vale and Long Reed are good but a decent detour.

Agree with Ron on the LR, MV detour being difficult, another option whilst a lesser detour is Wakehurst

For purely public courses there isn’t much that I’d call good nearby. Chatswood itself is very ordinary. Can get on plenty of mid-tier private clubs outside their comp times. Long Reef and Mona Vale are good and within the driving time. You could get to Asquith and Eastlake in that time too. I’m sure others will have other suggestions too. I’m a member at North Turramurra. It’s a public course and the front 10 that we’re relatively recently redone are surprisingly good, but the last 8 are average. They have a club attached to the public course that has really cheap membership too. Happy to have a hit there with you if you like.

I have played Menai a few times, i like that course and its accessible. But hey I am from qld, any golf course is better than any we have.
